The beach is the main route of travel for wildlife during low water. Stay at one of our campsites, situated at a safe distance off the beach, and see what walks by. Here bears, moose, fox, beaver, weasel, birds, and wolves add to the traffic flow; but no human tracks!

Onion Bay Sunrise
Sunrise at our Onion Bay Campsite. Located at Upper Lake Clark and surrounded by islands this location is a great site for an overnight drop-off and pick-up. Let us provide the whole package: camping gear, kayak rentals and water taxi.
All of our fire pits come with grills, but if you want to do it the Athabascan way you can always munyuq. (That means cook your meat on a stick.)
In the late fall, brown bears and bald eagles become more prominent on the shoreline as the salmon begin to spawn out.
